Our sessions cover the structure of formal debates, techniques for overcoming stage fright, vocal projection, body language, and the art of persuasion. We discuss a wide range of topics, from school policies and local community issues to science and philosophy, teaching students how to conduct research and back up their arguments with solid evidence.
Members participate in friendly intra-club tournaments and represent Tenri School in county-wide public speaking contests.
